Clock No:  2259  SOLD

This clock has a serial number very close to stock number 2251 and therefore looks very similar, but the dial is in much better condition.  

We purchased it from a retired RAF Officer who was given it some years ago on leaving HQ Strike Command.  The clock was on the office wall when he arrived and was his farewell present on leaving the RAF.  It is very rare to have such provenance about one of these clocks.  

The serial number of the movement is stamped on the back of the case. This too is rare and shows the case and movement have always been together, a further rare occurrence.  

The clock is in original condition and is in working order.  We can restore the case and overhaul the movement should a customer so wish and we’ll do this anyway if unsold by January 2012.  

It even has its original key, which I have scarcely seen before.  This is the best original sector clock that I have offered for some time.
