An un-restored early 1939 RAF Sector Clock made by
FW Elliott Ltd. Both the case and the movement are dated 1939. The
clock is made to the usual high standard of Elliott clocks with a
polished cast bezel and a mahogany case.

This example dates from early 1939 and would have been finished to
the pre-war standard with the case in its natural mahogany finish and
the bezel polished to a shining brass. The RAF updated it during
the war to the later tone-down finish so the mahogany case now has the
dark varnished finish and the brass bezel has a matt black coating.
It is rare to find a sector clock in entirely original condition as
it was when in RAF use.
