We have two bells in stock (the magnificent 1936 bell in
the centre is now sold). The 1938 RAF bell to the right has the
pre-war form with the large and attractive type of engraved crest with
crown. These bells were Station Bells, either mounted outside the
guardroom and painted red, or outside the Station Headquarters.

The bell comes without a clanger. Most were sold off by the RAF
separately from the bells, where the bell was sold as scrap bronze and
the clanger as scrap iron.

These pre-war bells are handsome items and generally sell for around
£1000. This example has a small chip in the skirt in the back and
is therefore much reduced at £690.
