AM Sir Hugh Lloyd was AOC Mediterranean in Malta
in1941 and 1942. This is
his account, published in 1949, of the crucial air war over Malta, which
resulted in much of the Axis shipping taking supplies to Rommel in the
desert being sunk. From the
collection of Johnnie Johnson and acquired from the Station library of
HQ 3 Group, then based at RAF Mildenhall. The boards are well rubbed and
dirty although the pages themselves are in good condition.
