This book is regarded by many as the finest academic work on aviation in WW1.  It describes the history of 56 Sqn RFC during WW1, including detailed histories of the several aces in that Sqn and individual aircraft.

Now out of print, second hand copies rarely come to market, but we generally have 2 or 3 a year for sale with prices from £80 to £110 gbp, according to condition.

If you want first refusal on the next to come along, please let us know.
